Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026
This disclaimer explains the scope of services provided by the V2Ray Official Site and your responsibilities when using them. Before visiting the site, downloading a client, or following a tutorial to configure software, review these terms and decide whether to proceed based on your device and applicable laws.
1. Website Purpose and Scope
This is the V2Ray Official Site, offering V2Ray guides and client download links, including instructions for installing v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, importing subscriptions, and configuring settings. The content is intended to explain client features; it does not guarantee technical results for any particular network environment or constitute legal advice.
Download links and tutorials do not provide network access. Clients, cores, subscription providers, and remote servers serve different functions. Listing a feature or protocol does not mean this site provides connectable nodes, subscription access, or a continuously available network route.
2. Software and Configuration Risks
You are responsible for deciding whether the software suits your operating system, device permissions, and network environment. To the extent permitted by law, you assume the risks arising from installing, configuring, and using it. System proxy, routing, DNS, and TUN settings can change how app traffic is handled, affect local network access, or conflict with other networking tools.
Before changing settings, back up your existing configuration and note your current proxy and DNS settings. If you experience connection issues, disable the relevant features and restore the previous settings before troubleshooting step by step. Subscription URLs, node credentials, and configuration files may contain sensitive information. Keep them secure and do not expose them in screenshots or support materials.
We do not guarantee that the software will work on every device, or that it will provide any particular connection speed, uptime, or app compatibility. Losses caused by user configuration errors, device failures, or changes to third-party services are subject to applicable law and the allocation of responsibility in each case.
3. Tutorial Accuracy and Version Differences
Tutorials reflect the current versions and common usage environments at the time they were written or revised. Client updates may change menu names, default settings, permission requests, and supported cores, and page content may not immediately reflect every change.
When following instructions, rely on the options, prompts, and release notes shown by the current client. If the interface differs from the tutorial, do not apply older settings without checking that they still fit your client, operating system, and intended feature. Example settings explain how an operation works; they are not suitable for every network environment.
We review and correct errors when found, but do not guarantee that the content is always complete, up to date, or suitable for a particular purpose. For Getting Started, see the usage guide. For routing and DNS changes, see Advanced Setup.
4. External Links and Third-Party Services
Download links and reference materials may lead to third-party services. The respective providers are responsible for external page content, file distribution, terms of service, and data handling, which may change without our control. A link on this site does not guarantee the quality or continued operation of a third-party service or the completeness of its content.
After leaving this site, check the address you are visiting and any permission requests, and read the destination service’s terms. Before purchasing a subscription, signing in, or submitting personal information, verify the provider and transaction terms. A broken external link, restricted access, or service outage does not mean the client itself is malfunctioning.
5. Lawful Use and Limits of Responsibility
You must comply with applicable local laws, your organization’s network policies, and relevant service terms. Do not use a client to infringe others’ rights or engage in unlawful activity. The technical information on this site does not authorize any prohibited use.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or affects rights you are entitled to by law. The application of other terms depends on the specific facts and applicable law. For the conditions of using this site and how data is handled, read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
